Audience (News - Alert), Inc. has announced that the company's Audience earSmart eS305 processor was selected by BBK for the new vivo X1 smartphone. The vivo X1 is the world's thinnest smartphone.

The earSmart eS305 Advanced Voice processor from Audience provides innovations in high-definition (HD) voice communications and sound quality. This is available for tablets, as well as mobile phones.
In addition to mobile phones and with all-digital interfaces, the earSmart eS305 processor is specifically created for easy integration into tablet architectures, providing a low-power, high-performance solution.
The new device offers considerable voice enhancement and wideband noise suppression for handheld speakerphone use. Providing tablet users clear, life-like conversations for video chats, VoIP and mobile calls over broadband Wi-Fi and 4G wireless networks, this makes the earSmart eS305 processor uniquely optimized to enable HD voice quality.
To improve the accuracy of speech-enabled applications, ASR Assist offers numerous hardware-accelerated algorithms that isolate voice energy - irrespective of surrounding environmental noise.
"BBK has a technical powerhouse in the vivo X1 smartphone. They are delivering an outstanding feature set in an incredibly sleek package while responding to the consumer demand for a superior voice and audio experience,' said Andy Keane (News - Alert), vice president of marketing for Audience. 'The Audience earSmart advanced voice processor is the key component in delivering that experience. By working with industry innovators like BBK we are creating a far better ASR experience."
Recently, the company announced that the newly released Nexus 10 tablet from Google (News - Alert) and Samsung features its earSmart eS305 Advanced Voice processor. This processor enables the Nexus 10 to perform voice-enabled tasks dependably and accurately, despite any surrounding noise.
To provide clear video calls, VoIP conference calling and other voice use, the earSmart eS305 also provides top-quality noise suppression performance.
