LAS VEGAS, Jan 08, 2013 (Los Angeles Times - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- Past CES attendees Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga won't be at this year's convention, but the trade show will still roll out the red carpet for a number of Hollywood actors and high-profile singers. The celebrities are scheduled to be on hand to promote their own brands, endorse big tech companies and give live performances.

Here's a roundup of who's slated to appear at CES this week: Qualcomm's pre-show keynote on Monday brought out a slew of surprise celebrity guests, including director Guillermo del Toro, actress Alice Eve and even Big Bird. Will.I.Am of the Black Eyed Peas is set to be a featured panelist on the Next Generation of Innovators keynote at 11 a.m. Tuesday.

"Jersey Shore's" Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi is to be at the Zeikos booth on Wednesday afternoon to unveil her new headphone line. We expect them to be extra roomy to fit over those pouf hairstyles.

Soul Electronics is scheduled to feature Tim Tebow at its suite on Thursday morning for the product launch of the Tebow line. That night, the company plans to throw an after party at TAO nightclub, hosted by Ludacris.
