Tollgrade in the 'Playoffs' for Smart Grid News: 'Smart Grid Companies to Watch in 2013' Award

Pittsburgh, PA, Jan 24, 2013 ( via COMTEX) -- Tollgrade Communications Incorporated, a global leader in providing network assurance solutions to the world's largest utilities and telecommunications providers, has been nominated for a 'Smart Grid Companies to Watch in 2013' award from Smart Grid News. Tollgrade's nomination includes, in part: "Tollgrade is helping utilities solve the real-world challenges that impact the reliability of the distribution grid." What: Smart Grid News magazine is posting its nominees for this year's 'Companies to Watch' recognition and asking readers to vote to determine which 25 companies should be in the 'finals' for the award. Nominated companies are presented in random order in groups of six; Tollgrade is listed in the Part 7 group of candidates.

Who: Anyone can vote for the 'Smart Grid Companies to Watch in 2013' finalists. Each individual can vote one time in each part (i.e., each group of six companies).

When: Voting began on Jan. 14, 2013, with the presentation of Part 1 nominees. Voting will continue until all the nominated companies are presented.

How: Go to and click under Editors' Picks for the 'Companies to Watch' candidates lists. To vote for Tollgrade, go directly to Part 7.
