QNET Expands Data Center Capacity

(PR Web Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Hong Kong (PRWEB) February 01, 2013 QNET, a leading eCommerce direct selling company, has announced its move to a larger and more technologically-advanced data center in Hong Kong.

The move signifies QNET’s commitment to provide its seven million customers worldwide with a faster and enhanced user experience.

The data center is able to host 150 virtual and physical servers and based on a Private Cloud fundamental design. Its improved features include a three-tier architecture and expanded network backbone.

“As an e-commerce company, it is especially important that our business and customer data remain secure. Investing in multi-tiered architecture such as the one found in our data center significantly improves security,” explains Mr Richard Zinkiewicz, Director of International Operations.

“As QNET continues to grow – it now has 25 global offices and 50 stockists – the need to support increased network traffic becomes ever more important. With the expansion of QNET’s network backbone, not only can we connect our offices, we are now able to bring improved data services to our customers worldwide,” added Mr Zinkiewicz.

The multi-tiered architecture also provides the option of scalability, useful for a company like QNET which continues to expand globally.

Some of the partners QNET worked with include industry leaders such as Juniper Networks, Cisco, Hewlett Packard and F5. This move is part of QNET’s continuous effort to create a simplified and extraordinary platform for its customers.

Recently, the company was awarded a TRUSTe certification.

About QNET QNET is one of Asia’s leading Direct Selling companies with a dynamic online shopping and business community comprising around seven million customers and independent distributors around the world. The company offers an entrepreneurial network marketing business opportunity and a portfolio of lifestyle products that have been developed to enhance the lives of its customers through innovation, wellness and luxury.
