Acclaimed Chicago Restaurant TWO Chooses SeatMe Over OpenTable to Fill Tables and Delight Diners

Chicago, IL, Jan 31, 2013 ( via COMTEX) -- SeatMe, a leading provider of online restaurant reservation systems and front of house management software that helps restaurants fill more tables and increase regular diners, celebrates TWO Restaurant's six month anniversary. TWO opened in August 2012, and has used SeatMe since opening, leading adoption of the platform that now includes several other high-profile Chicagoland restaurants.

In addition to accepting online reservations, TWO uses SeatMe to manage their waitlist by alerting walk-in guests via text message when their table is ready. What's more, restaurants like TWO can organize their table layouts and shifts, manage their capacity, and personalize guest experiences with an electronic guestbook that tracks dietary preferences, allergies, special occasions, repeat visits, and more. TWO can also free-up their hosts' time by confirming reservations via SMS, which many diners prefer over a phone call.

Since TWO used SeatMe from the start, they have a complete history of all their diners' preferences, special occasions, and allergies via the guestbook. TWO can then market to their diners based on the guestbook data, via email, Facebook or Twitter -- increasing the frequency of regular diners and encouraging them to bring friends. Given TWO's current 4.5-star average on Yelp, they'll have no trouble attracting new regulars.

Unlike other online reservation and restaurant management tools, SeatMe doesn't charge any additional fees per cover or for added features. Everything is included in the flat monthly fee of $99, with no contract, and all prospective restaurants have a full month to try the service for free. What's more, setting up a new restaurant on SeatMe is quick, taking minutes, not hours.

"We've always said that SeatMe succeeds only when our partner restaurants succeed" said Alexander Kvamme, SeatMe CEO. "The stellar reviews speak to how well TWO has done in just the first six months, and we look forward to many more. " About SeatMe SeatMe, headquartered in San Francisco, CA is a leading provider of online restaurant management tools, allowing restaurants everywhere to fill more tables and increase check sizes by accepting online reservations and managing walk-in diners via an intuitive iPad interface. SeatMe offers a variety of advanced features to help restaurants manage all of their guests and front of house services, without charging any per-diner or equipment fees. To learn more, visit:

Influenced by the quality and tradition of family run butcher shops, TWO sources from trusted, small mid-western farms. They are often the first Chicago restaurant to feature renowned items, such as the heritage Hampshire pork, on their menu. TWO chefs make all their bacon, sausage, jerky, cheese, sauces and pastas in house and are constantly exploring new and seasonal dishes to feature those ingredients.
