Stock to Watch: Cytokinetics Down 7.6% (CYTK)

Feb 04, 2013 (SmarTrend(R) Spotlight via COMTEX) -- Cytokinetics (NASDAQ:CYTK) is one of today's worst performing low-priced stocks, down 7.6% to $1.10 on 1.1x average daily volume. Thus far today, Cytokinetics has traded 672,000 shares, vs. average volume of 586,000 shares per day. The stock has underperformed the Dow (-7.6% to the Dow's -0.9%) and underperformed the S&P 500 (-7.6% to the S&P's -1.0%) during today's trading.

In the past 52 weeks, Cytokinetics share prices have been bracketed by a low of $0.57 and a high of $1.29 and are now at $1.10, 93% above that low price. Over the last five market days, the 200-day moving average (MA) has gone up 0.2% while the 50-day MA has advanced 6.4%.
